I tried backing up my Lego StarWars using DvDecryptor, and CloneCD. I even tried with Nero. DvDecryptor wouldnt read the cd-based PS2 game. Using Nero I got 3 coasters. But CloneCD got me to play without sounds or music. I ran around for a few minutes to see if sound would come on and then quit game when nothing changed. I want to try with Alcohol 120% and I need step-by-step tutorial.
My rewriter only burns dvd+r and cd-r. I never had a cd+r to test.
I have Verbatim dvd+r and Imation cd-r and Memorex cd-r. My PS2 is not modded but I use SwapMagic 3. I really would like to back this game up before it gets ruined from scratches. Can anyone point me to the right direction?


I found by using Alcohol did the trick. I tested the game and the sounds work as well. I used the setting "Media Descriptor Image" and it worked on first attempt.

did you burn with a cd or a dvd? With alcohol?
