My Cable going from the LPT programming port to the Chip is nolonger working.

the programming software erassed the bios but will not write a new one, one of the finger on the cable is gone.

is there a way to program the chip via DVD when the chip is blank?


or am I out of luck :-(

I don't think that programming a blank chip via DVD is possible... Anyone, plz correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you will find it easier to buy a replacement for the "head" of the cable and change it. Even better, take the cable to an electronics shop and ask them to change the parallel connector in it.

I am now using SDloader for now, anyone have a way to execure a viper flash via the SDLOADER?

not that im aware of i think you have just killed your mod chip sorry and you will ned to purchase a new one now i know why i don't use a mod chip because if i did it would kill my gamecube and all though gamecubes are 49.99 now in the usa it wouldn't be worth the risk to the console to mod it
