I read the instructions azbout backing up this game as well as others and the instructions are very simple until it gets to a few steps. The first thing that is confusing me is combining files in a command screen. Is there a further write up about how to do this or to even pull up the dos stuff?

The second thing I have read about this game is changing out the garbage files with new garbage files. The tutorial said that the files have.001 or .dat to them. When I look at the files, there isn't any extension. It just has 'GARBAGE' without a .extension. It just says 'File' underneath it. What do I do?

Which method is easier?

Whoops! I figured out how to make these garbage files. So if anyone is wondering, open the notepad, save a file as GARBAGE.file and change the .txt to "all files". Then you will get a document called "GARBAGE.File" with FILE File underneath it. Rename the rile and delete the ".File" portion. That's it! Thanks for all the help!
