Ok ppl, i hope i explain this with as much detail as needed... here goes.
I softmodded my xbox. With the 007 game exploit. Booted up the game, went to load game and loaded the exploit from the Xbox Hard Drive. It should have Softmodded it, but didnt. (this worked on my other Xbox) I think its due to the fact that i have the older M$ Dash on it and its clashing with the modd. I even tried repeating the Softmodd proccess but still nothing.
However, now that this has happened, the console no longer loads up ANY dashboard what so ever. I have tried installing a newer Xbox Live enabled game to update the dash but it didnt seem to work. Now normally u would just FTP the Xbox and sort it out from there, but being as how i cant get Evo-X to load up i cant get the info from my xbox to setup an FTP. I dont know what its IP Address is or if its even setup for an FTP or not.
It also refuses to recognize any disc other than a retail Xbox game. Meaning i cant use any sort of Auto Installer disc to help the situation in any way. (Believe me, ive tried.) I have used different types of media that im nearly certain would all have worked also and burned at 2x with DVD Decrypter each time.
Now my question is this..
Without being able to read any burned disc i throw at it like an Auto Installer Disc, and without a Dashboard to access the hard drive for FTP setup... is there ANY way to fix this? I just want to restore it factory settings but its looking nearly impossible now.
The dumbist thing i did was not making a backup before the Softmodd proccess...yea that was really stupid. And yes, i have tried repeating the softmodd proccess with the 007 game i used to load the 007 game exploit. Still no luck.
Any help or sudgestions you guys might have on this matter would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance. God i hope this is reversable...
