Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help. Do these boxes work down in Portlaoise or Portarlington. My friend just got one and when he set it up its saying info no signal. Any one any ideas. Thanks in advance

He might be c***us mmds, therefore he`ll need a T - variant b0x.
eur0vox-Tx, digivox - T etc.
See if he can find out whether he`s mmds or cable, before he buys another b0x.

if not he may just need to rescan. it may be pre-tuned to a different cable network. ex. chorus, ntl.

A friend gave me a box super as the box keeps knocking off ,it has the new s/ware any ideas as what could be wrong.All cables are connected properly

Hi Guys, I am having a bit of a problem with my Starview4 super USB box, I had to update the firmware and I still get the free view channels only any suggestions please help The new update is V1.07 it does not seem to work

Leeds, I had a similar problem. Had to open box and discovered a loose connection inside. There is a white plastic 'plug + socket' that links on/off switch to the circuit boards inside box. Its on the back/left side as u look at box. Let me know. Brgds, Joe90.

I've just reflashed my box with Ver 8.04e.
I've set nagravision to default.
Then auto scanned under Chorus.
However missing a good few channels: Sen**ta Irl, Disney etc ..
Any ideas,

Menu > factory setting
pin > 0000 Press ok to delete
Turn the b0x off at the back for a min, then turn back on
English > installation
choose provider > Autoscan > ok
Channels found > exit
Menu > 1570
Turn Emu on
Exit, Exit, Exit.

All channels now operational.
Only issue is that when i go to 'SPORT' there are just 2 lifestyle channels listed.
When I go to kids - all the music channels are listed.
Is there a solution for this?

Hi,
In Dublin 2/6 region
Came home this evening and my channels were all scrambled or bad channel. I did a factory reset, probably too soon, and now I cant find any channels. I recently upgraded to the 4.57 firmware and everything was fine, until now. When the box is searching frequencies the orange bar appears and say its "ok", however no channels appear. It is also only searched 24 frequencies. It used to search 37 if I'm right.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong.? I thought I pretty handy at this lark, but I'm afraid I'm stumped again!
My System info is
The Box
API Ver 450e_E
Boot Ver 7.0

Any help woulf be appreciated.

might have been ur emu switched off ,if u upgraded with new fix in dec i dont think it would show v450,are u scanning correct provider for sure,yes u should have 37 tps,try another factory reset oooo to delete,power off at back/on autoscan ur provider and emu to on let update.
