i took my ps2 about 6 monthts ago to get modded it is a version 5 i think because it says SCPH 30001R so anyways i made a big mistake and forgot to ask the guy what chip he installed, big mistake but i was so excited, now my question is is there a way to find out what chip my ps2 has?

does it have the name on the chip because i saw the guy soldering a lot of wires, i tryed once already and broke the little piece where the fan connects to the board and trust me i had a diffecult time to solder it back on.
