I just bought the Philips DVP642 and whenever I watch AVI files I get a lot of white vertical lines in the picture, the picture quality on regular DVD's are fine. But the vertical lines are bothersome. Is there a setting I should set or do I need a sofware upgrade, I bought this machine to eliminate having to convert AVI files to DVD files. I would like a little help here. Thanks.
