Sorry, I know this is a stupid noob question but I'm having trouble finding a thread with the answer.

If you have Swap Magic and HDLoader (or HDAdvance) can you use both togather to load a backup game onto the HD?

The answer is... YES, if you have the Slide Card "knife trick" or 'flip top'.

You dont actually need to use the Swap Magic disc's to do this.

They way i do it (and many others) is to start up HD Advance, then choose convert, it will then ask for you to insert the PS2 DISC. Then using the slide card / knife trick / flip top, insert the backup dosc into the disc tray, then close it.
Now just confirm the message on the Screen, and it should start to convert!
