This is a rather specific hypathetical I have to ask you all -

Ok, I'm new, as you may have gathered. So I hope this is in the right section *scratches neck*

I have a PS2 Version 7 ( SCPH - 39002 ).

Home Made Knife/Swap Slide Card
Many AVI/MPEG/MP3/SNES files/roms

I do the knife/swap method and insert the PS2Reality Media Player disc. Screen goes blank, get the fabled Insert Format screen. Sometimes it just stays black. The ToN dude down at ps2reality.net said that V.7's have double disc verification so I can't run homebrew/Mc Exploit.

Is this true? Is there any way (aside from mod-chipping) to run homebrew? Such as Snes-Station, Media Player and Mc Exploit Disc?
