PS2 V12 or V13???

Hi

I'm about to purchase a slim PS2. I do see Version 13 available, but am not sure if I should get the V13 or look around for a V12.

I plan on using the Matrix Infinity chip. For the V12 I will also do the summone fix, but am not sure if V13 requires it?

Does anyone know for a fact if V13 requires a laser fix, summone fix or anything in addition to the mod chip?

Can someone please list if V13 is better than V12?

Another question, I was not able to find instructions or diagrams for installing a mod chip on a V13, should it be the same as V12?

V13 is better as they have fixed the laser issues they had with
some V12's, meaning that you will not NEED a laser fix. But for
the extremely cheap cost of them it wouldn't hurt to install one.

i do not have instructions but you can look at the pictures closely and see if any wires seem to go in different places.
