i used avifix on a file to syncronize the audio and video, but it doesn't play on my media player now, what do i do?

So you did not back up the original file?

You may try view it with another media player to see if it can be played at all. Alternatively, try change the codec of the AVI with e.g. Power Video Converter or Advanced X Video Converter (try set video to XviD and Audio to mpey layer 3).
