Does Swap Magic play DVD-R burned movies?

Will Swap Magic allow me to play movies burned on DVD-R?

And if so, what program do you reccomend me using to burn it to the DVD-R if the original file is in .avi format? Would I have to burn it as an 'IMAGE COPY'?

No Swap Magic can only load games and plus you can play burned movies on the PS2 without any type of mod

you do not need anything to play back up movies
the PS2 will play those with no modifications right out
of the box.

to burn them Nero & DVD Shrink work ok.
AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 combo works real good
Do not know about the AVI file format and if the PS2 will play that or not, have never tried it.
ISO files and Video TS folders are the 2 most common types
i have done.
