Hi, I'm try to make a VCD/SVCD and i can't seem to get the audio in synch with the video, i looked around and found out that AVI files will only work with SVCD, but when I take this option it asks me to download the MPEG2 encoder from Nero. Would anyone know where I might be able to find a freeware version of this

The claim is b.s. that it's needed for audio synch and secondly, the Nero's encoder plugin produces HORRIBLE quality compared to TMPGEnc or CCE. Please refer our guides for converting AVI (DivX, XviD, etc) to VCD and how to burn them to achieve the best available quality (quality WILL drop when doing the conversion, as it would also drop when you would convert from VCD to AVI). And the MPEG-2 plugin is commercial, so asking for it violates against our forum rules and if you do that it future, you will get banned.
