hi can anyone help me i've downloaded the ring in xvid and i've used ulead movie factory to convert it to mpeg the pictures ok but there is no sound can anyone help ?

The xvid of the ring has ac3 audio so you'll have to use this guide or something to convert it! http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/divx_to_vcd.cfm

You dont need to add subtitles thats optional so dont worry and even though it says divx it works for xvid too!

You can save yourself SOO much time and hassle by using another program called Vidomi. Why people "take the long way home" astonishes me.

Ok, here's the link to Vidomi and a guide provided by ChickenMan, courtesy CD-Freaks. Save yourself MUCH needed time m8.

Use DivX 5.03 or 5.02. If you encounter audio sync playback problems, then switch to MPEG4 DivX 3.11alpha.
