Help, Making Sure Im Doing The Right Thing

Im fixing to mod my xbox and I know a little about modding but not a whole not to know what and what wont work. I want to make sure Im doing the right thing. Im going to be buying the Xecuter 3 and soldier it to my xbox. Im also buying a Maxtor 300 GB Harddrive ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.... )for my xbox. I was wondering if the harddrive im getting will fit in my xbox and if it is compatible with my xbox. I know I will need bios for my chip I plan on getting them once I put it together. I was wondering if there was anything else I need to get my computer going. I already know how to set up my ftp. So I was just needing a littl help to see if there is anything im forgetting or doing wrong.
