is it possible to burn a copy of the 2 SwapMagic 3 disco and have them do the same job as the original? thanks

Not unless you have a modchip in your PS2. The Swap Magic discs are pressed just like an original game, so a burnt copy would be pointless.

What's happening? I'm new here. Been trying to burn these PS2 games and I got quite a few coaters lol. A few questions:

1) Not sure what PS2 version I have cause the guy who hooked up my fliptop put a new cover on there so I don't have the serial info. But my game is pretty old, I had it since December 2002 I think. What version do I likely have.

2) I have a SwapMagic 2.0 disc and my 1:1 burns have about a <= 50% success rate. I downloaded SwapMagic 3.0 to hold me until I can get to the Flea Market to buy SwapMagic 3.6. Is 3.0 any different from 2.0? Does 3.3 and 3.6 load the games better or something? And is a burnt SwapMagic disc any good?

Someone please hook me up. I just rebuilt Fantastic 4 and it worked. So I think I know how to burn the discs but I think my SwapMagic disc may be out of date. Oh by btw, I use Sony DVD -Rs and I use ISO Buster, CD/DVD Rom Generator, and DVD Decrypter or Nero.
