I have been trying to copy a DVD useing Nero 7.0 but when i put the blank recordable DVD-R disk in the computer the computer says that there is no disk in the drive: It says "G:\ is not accessible. The device is not ready." but the disk is in that driver. It reads the DVD disk that im trying to copy from, but it doesnt read the one thats blank.

It may be that your dvd drive is a +r..there are 2 types of media drives -r and +r. One wont reconize the other. You need the same type of dvd as your drive.

Well if all you have is a dvd-rom drive then you don't have a burner to make copys. For example some dvd drives are dvd-rom/burner combos. Weather its +R or -R that you reading aka ripping it does not matter, your going to creat dvd files or and .iso file and then from there you will have to have a dvd burner drive to make a copy.

Good Luck

Krass you have alot of reading to do. When someone says Burner that's refering to your dvd-rom drives that has the ability to burn(write) media. Media meaning cd's and dvd's. Nero, ahead, Alcohol 120%, dvdDecypter ect, ect, ect are software programs that have the ability to write to cd's and dvd's. Burner is refering to hardware in pc, dvddecrypter is software installed on your hard drive(hardware). I originally ask the make(Brand) and model of your dvd-rom drive(Hardware) to check and see if it has the capibility to read(Rip) and write(Burn) cd's and dvd's. You need to know if it has the ability to write to dvd +R and -R disks. Most newere dvd burners(Hardware) can write to +r and -R media. Someone mentioned to try -R media assuming you have a dvd burner.

Good Luck
