Hi,

Guys first time posting so forgive me for any mistakes.

I recently backed up onimusha 3 on dvd-r, and tried to play it using swap magic 3.6 on my slim ps2, everything goes smoothly i can see the laser going up and down loading the game, but then the laser stays at the top and dosent move any more, i have left it for half an hour and it still stays in that position.

I have burn over 15 games and this one is the only one giving me head ache, i have looked up and down the web like a headless chicken looking for the solution but nothing.

i have burned it on the 3 most popular media's phillips, tdk, and sony, i have rebuilt the game using the clean and dirty method, i have tried DVD loader and zoneloader(DVD), you name i have done it and nothing the game still will not boot.

So i was wondering is there something i missed? do i need to do anything special for this game to work. I joined this forum because the people here seem to be a hell of alot smarter then the other ones i been too lol.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

was the game a download, or did you copy an original? Also, what speeds did you try burning at? Have you updated the firmware of your DVD Burner? That tends to help too.

Yes the game is a download and i burn with dvd decrypter at 1x and my firmware is up to date, like i said i have burn 15 games but this game is doing my head in lol
