Howdy guys! I'm into woodworking as a hobby; I've designed and am very nearly finished building this really neat stand for my TV and equipment in order to get rid of this old ugly component stacking rack. I'm building the unit with a good solid power supply complete with protection...which is the nature of my question...what would be the best? My initial plans had called for top notch computer protection built in in a way that would be unobtrusive but then I wondered if, perhaps, I should consider something else or is good computer surge protection adequate? I once had lightning hit the swimming pool and it destroyed all sorts of thing in the house. I know that sort of thing is unlikely but I'd rather not take any chances. I'd appreciate your input on this matter and I hope everyone has a great turkey day! ... Gerry
