I downloaded The Two Towers(SVCD) and got some .bin and .cue files, so I was just wondering if theres a certain way to set my CDRWIN or ALCOHOL %120 before burning my MPEG2? Or should I just leave my settings as it is and just burn the .cue.

I have had many problems burning this same stupid file (5 hours total, trying to figure it out!). I think it is my burner, it is a little outdated. Originally when I tried to burn the bin files, I used the wrong .cue file mode. When I downloaded the real cue file, I tried to burn it using cdrwin, nero, easyvcd, and none of them worked. I extracted the mpeg with vcdgear, and amazingly the mpeg works fine! I tried burning a svcd using the mpeg file and again I get a file that does not play smoothly in any dvd-standalone, or computer. The problem with my burner is that it can't burn a multi-session DAO mode file. I think that may be the reason why RedSuns is having trouble. I also have tried emulating the bin files with FantomCD, Daemon Tools, and CloneCD Virtual CdRom. None of these seem to emulate it correctly. Using WinISO 5.3, I extracted the bin, and I got an error. I tried converting it to ISO using WinISO 5.3, and I get a small file of about 600KB. The actual files is 803MB! I am very confused, and I think I am going to purchase a new cd burner that can burn DAO-RAW, unlike my HP-8200 4x4x24 piece of crap. Googlegear and newegg are both running some specials on a 52x24x52 Liteon, which I hope will solve all of my problems.

Use BurnAtOnce or VCDEasy. When I encode my dvd backups to svcd (bin& cue), most of the time my first 2 files are 805 mb's. Grab that Litey LTR 52x, excellent burner!
