If the copy plays o.k. on the pc, but freezes on the standalones, then you may try change the media or the burning programs/methods to test the results.

yeah change media the fuji flim DVD-R code out as prodisc which isnt great media .get better media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn at 4x max. or if you buy the fujifilm get the DVD+R that are made in japan they will code out as Taiyo Yuden and booktype them to DVD-ROM this will slove your problem

YES because the dvd player will see(if you booktype) the dvd as a dvd-rom NOT a DVD+R which is the most compatible format for ALL standalone players

No it needs to be set in the burning process NOT the encoding stage.so if your using DVD Decrypter to burn After you use DVD Shrink to encode set it there ,same if your using Nero.

this guide may help

you know i trade stock from my house and when i try and teach someone how to do it, it could drive me nuts because the questions sound so dumb. then i think how hard it was for me to learn and make money without working so i calm down and after a while they get it. sorry for driving you nuts but it helped a lot. aabbccdd why would the booktype in shrink be grayed out? thats an easy one. anyway thanks again and if i could help you with anything just let me know.
