SWBF2 PAL - NTSC patching didn't work

I used jayteemaster's Pal to Ntsc patching program version 1.3 to patch Star Wars Battlefront 2 for ps2. I put the disk in, and have tried all the different choices on the p/n selector, but they all start the game in Pal. Should I try patching again? Is there anything else I could do?
