Hey guys,

Am new here and think this forum is awesome! So many clever people...

I had a movie which i tried copying, and did it successfully however my daughter then proceeded to wreck it. We no longer have the DVD as my sister has taken it but we still have the files on the computer. Is there a way i can make this movie into a DVD by burning it from the files, or do I HAVE to have the original disc? I have read through a few topics but have not yet seen anything that addresses this - I will keep looking until someone replies...

Thanks in advance!

Kaz

yeah..if you have the files on your computer..all you gotta do is open up DVD Shrink..go to open files..find the Video_Ts folder..and then you can burn it again..thats what I did..first burned the movie onto my hard drive and then burned it to DVD

Thanks for your reply angelfan, unfortunately due the error with one of the files DVD Shrink doesn't like it. I was hoping there may be another way... Might just have to chase up dvd sooner rather than later and start ffrom scratch...

What kink of file do you have on your HDD. Are you working from an ISO file or a VIDEO_TS folder?

If the files are on your HD and you have already shrunk them then you should have the ISO image that you used to burn it with the first time. Navigate to that file with your burning program and burn the ISO.

Cheers.

I have not been able to shrink this folder of files because they don't work in DVD Shrink. Its coming up with an error file and doesn't even load.

Thanks for all the responses - I might just wait until I get the DVD back..

Cheers,

Kaz
