I was wondering if there is a swap disc for the new open top ps2 like there was for the Playstation so you can play Japanese games on your ps2 without doing any modifying if so where can I buy one?

use swap magic 3.6 it works great has region selector on startup

My playstation is brand new and has the console number : scph-75003.
which swap disc do i need for playing back-up games and do i need a chip.
i'm new to all this.

Swap Magic 3.6 will work fine, if that is what you want. You won't need a modchip if you have it. You will also need to modify your PS2 with either magic keys/magic switch/slide card etc.
