Motorola V635 drivers for Win 98

Would anyone know where I could get drivers for the V635 for Win 98SE.
When we plug the USB in nothing happens - except the lights goes out on the hub when we restart. We have checked with the store where we purchased the phone and they havent' a clue. As well there do not appear to be any drivers for Win 98 for this phone on the Motorola site. The usb cable works fine on our laptop which runs XP but we would like to get it working on our desktop.
