Please can anyone help me with my dillema. ican't seem to find a way to
extract an mpeg file or an avi file out of an iso image. I'm doing a documentary for school but I need good qaulity video so extracting the video from a dvd would be the best way. Please can someone give me some info on how I can accomplish this.

You could open the .iso image in DVDShrink, "File" then "Open Disc Image". If all you want is a certain section of the video for your project then go into Reauthor mode and use the Start/Stop feature. When Shrink finishes writing the files to your hard drive just grab the .VOB file, which is an mpeg2 file.

If you needed the whole video as 1 mpeg2 file then go into the "Output Files" tab and uncheck "Split VOB files into 1Gb size chunks" and you'll end up with 1 big .VOB file.
