My friend sent me NFS:Most Wanted, but it does not work properly. The screen flashes on and off and there is a white static like strip going through the middle of the screen. Please Help!!! Is there a chance that if i burn the game, that it will work. Again Please Help, and thank you.

a little more info whould help.
like what brand and speed media did he use?
Did he test it and say it worked fine on his?
If it did work on his then your PS2 may just not like the same media he uses for his.

if by static like white strip you mean a scrolling screen then it sounds like another classic case of trying to play a PAL game on an NTSC machine. You can convert pal to ntsc it's been asked many times before and answered many times before.
