Are you ripping in iso mode? If so in shrink go to file>open disc image. If your movie is larger than 4.37 gig than you'll either need a dual layer disc to burn with decrypter or compress it w/ shrink.

Thanks Binkie7,
I did rip in iso mode but i can not find a file in shrink. If i use decryter, i can open the file but it said " there is not enough space in your disk".
I think i can not use the dual layer disk because my DVD burnner do not work with dual layer.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot

@DatNDuong
The difference between iso and file mode is something like this: an iso is an image of the disc -1 output file containing all the info while file mode rips each file separately and is usually in a video_ts folder.

Not a problem!!! Glad it worked out.

hi all, hows the xmas season treating ya...
Well i,ve read the tuts for dvdshrink and decrypter, but im still having a problem with shrink...
The problem is I'm trying to get the new 50cent ps2 game to backup on a regular 4gigi disc, From the stuff i have read I can do this...and when I follow the tuts i get an error in shrink(Invalid DVD Navigation Structure) i have copied the disc in ISO and followed the tuts S4S...like go to file and open disc image...which allows me to see the file then...but I open it and get the error...also when I drag and drop the file.
Any sugestions or am I lookin for love in all the wrong places...anything at all...ill try it and if it works i'll post the results.
Also just an inquir...in decrypter i usually choose the larger file to burn IE the one sized in gigs...never had a problem befor until this 5ocent...when i drag and drop the file I usually grab(ISOpen) and it says (You should have selected the MDS file and not this one. I'll do it for you automatically this tyme, but dont do it again!)
Now I have not read anything on this subject yet but after this is posted im gonna reasearch some more, but any insite will be apreciated.
Thanx,ModDog

Could be normal - somes drives are louder than others. The more you push your drive the hotter it will get. Even though it's a 16x burner I would not burn that fast. Sometimes it's due to the disc it's reading or tryng to burn - may not like it so gets louder when having problems.

Here's a great guide all about booktyping & shows your how to set it up in Decrypter & Nero. Your NEC burner can be set to booktype in Decrypter - your Sony is probably a rebadged lite on but I can't find the drive to confirm this.
http://www.k-probe.com/bitsetting-booktype-faq.php DVD Players can be picky with what media they like - by booktyped you are making the disc appear to be a DVD-Rom - the most compatible format.
Also make sure you are using quality media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

GOOD IDEA TO GO THIS ROUTE ON DVDDecrypter with AnyDVD as this will keep DVD Decrypter working longer..
To use DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD as stated by Olli ->
Proceed to the DVD Decrypter Opening Page - Tools - Settings
I/O Tab - Click on "Elby CDIO-Elaborate Bytes"
General Tab - un-check "Check For Structure Protection"
AnyDVD History
5.7.2.1, 2006 01 01
- Happy new year from SlySoft!
- Important: When installing this version over an existing
installation, you must reboot your machine. Otherwise the changes
made in the AnyDVD device driver will not have any effect!
- New: Improved the function remove unreferenced VOBUs. This fixes
problems with some titles, e.g. "Unstoppable" R2 (German).
- New: Error zones on RipGuard/Arccos/PuppetLock protected titles are
now replaced with "valid material". 3rd party tools like DVDDecrypter
will now work better (no more "Pack Header Error" messages).
- New: Better support of elby CloneDVD2 when copying Arccos or
RipGuard protected titles without Menus:
Eliminates "hang" on standalone DVD Player and Audio "out of sync"
problems.
