Toshiba ODD DVD SD R6252 update driver

My laptop DVD writer won't read DVD R or DVD R/W disks when I go to back up. I found a driver about 6 months ago from this forum updated and it worked but since my computer crashed and I subsequently no longer have that updated driver. Has anyone got the driver?

hi, i take it you mean firmware, if so, latest, ie 1A14 is here, though that's nearly a year old - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1902

however that's only for drives in HP/compaq computers

otherwise you should check the Toshiba website
