Hi Everybody.
Ok... so for a while now, my wifes DVD-RW drive has been being a pain in the bottom. First of all, DVD decryptor stopped working, claiming everything was poor medium... or illegal medium, i forget which unfortunately. We searched for help, but got nothing on it.
Then other burners... nero, Roxio... some freeware ones too... they started being very hit and miss too, with the same error. I changed my media to Verbatim (was on Maxells and Gigatains before... both of which worked perfectly for about 3 months before the errors suddenly came from no where) but even with the new high quality medium, nothing worked... still hit and miss.
Alcohol was our saving grace for Iso burning.
Then today... it gives me an error stating.
"S:KEY - 05/2C/00 - "Command Sequence Error""
I tried again... only to get a "medium may have changed" error, and another CD coaster.
I gave it one last try, after turning off my virtual drives and again got the first error.
Can someone please help me figure out what in the blue hell is wrong with the DVD-RW drive? I'm normally pretty good at fixing stuff for my wife on her computer, but currently feel like a let down cause despite numerous searches and attempts at fixing it... i just cant stop the errors.
Thanks for your helps...
Here's the report log... since i know it's helpful to you technical types ;)
