I'm trying to burn a DVD movie -- my first -- but Nero refuses to do the job. It'll get to the final stage of the burning process, but then throw up an error message just to annoy me.

Initially, I tried burning the DVD after using DVD Shrink only. When that didn't work, I used DVD Decrypter, followed by DVD Shrink, then tried burning again. Still no luck.

Here is Nero's logfile. I hope it provides one of the boffins here with some clues as to why the process keeps going awry.

Hi I was getting these same errors.I tried everything from different
dvd disks to different speeds, reinstalling windows/nero nothing worked.
What ended up fixing the issue was buying a new power supply. Now every dvd I burn works with no errors where as the same dvd disks errored right before I put the new power supply in.
So for 40$ you can get a 550 watt power supply and if it doesnt fix it for you atleast you know you have a good power supply for the next year or so :)(And you probably will spend 40$ on dvds trying to get it burning correctly, atleast this way you get something more then drink coasters)

Thanks for responding, but I don't think the power supply is the problem. If it was, it would affect other processes on my pc, and everything else is running as smooth as can be.

I should add that my DVD has no problem burning videos I download off the Net. Maybe I've run into one of those DVDs that just refuses to be copied. Apparently, this sort of thing does happen from time to time.
