About the 3rd screen, you'll have output method, there is a drop down box for preferred speed, the default is maximum, you can select a speed there, otherwise it will burn at the maximum speed the blank disc will support, when you click "go" and start writing, click the "log" tab and you'll see what speed it is burning, if you left it at default it will say maximum. I prefer to select a speed that is 1/2 of the top rated speed of the blank disc. For example, I have Verbatim DVD+R 16X media, I'll select 8X. If I use 8X rated media, I select 4X. CloneDVD 2 will remember what you select, so change it if you change media type & rated speed. I hope this helps you. CloneDVD 2 has become my program of choice, with AnyDVD running
you can back-up any movie out there.

Here is a graphic of where you set the speed of the burn. I personally never burn faster than 4x. It usually takes about 14.42minutes to burn at 4x.

Hope this helps you locate the setting.

Cheers.

Thanks to 9mmruger1 for the images! Hey 9mmRuger1, gotta LOVE that GSA-4163B! I have it, and I also have the Latest, GSA-4167B which is built on the 4163B design. These LG writers mentioned here are Bulletproof! I don't know about you, but I've never had any trouble with mine. Allows book type setting too, both do. Sorry, got off topic. Just commenting on the burner shown in the image. Nice! I usually burn at 4X too. Only on the 16X Verbs I'll set it at 8X.
