Dl demo game for ps2 and it boots and plays but is in black and white. Also screen if off center. Does this mean that it was originaly PAL and patched to NTSC but was botched? Or can i still do something to still save it?

I backed up Sniper Elite and patched it with the PAL to NTSC fix and got the black and white screen,it was off centre also.I reburned without applying the patch and used the swap magic special boot button and it works...although the bottom has been chopped off a bit :(

Unfortunately the chopped off bottom of the screen is something you gotta live with. NTSC tvs weren't meant to broadcast at the same refresh rate as PAL tvs, so you either go download the proper version or live with the off center picture.
