I'm a newbie to DVD creation and modifying and I want to take a bunch of DVDs I have and rip them to a hard drive so I cant view them on my computer without having to load a DVD disc. I also want to modify these ripped DVDs to change or add chapters, remove unwanted parts like commercials, FBI warnings, stuff (I dont know what its called) cant use the menus or fast forward to get around. I'm going to buy AnyDVD in order to rip the DVD and I have VideoRedo to edit the MPEGs but I need an DVD authoring program that will let me take the modified MPEGs and create a new DVD structure on hard disk to be viewd with my DVD software player. I've seen Sony's Vegas + DVD software and Ulead's Movie Fqactory 4 on sale recently. Will either of these do the trick? Or is there another DVD authoring program that's recommended? Thanks.

I recomend "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" for DVD authoring as it is One of the Best there is For advanced DVD authoring and can create Hollywood style DVD"s...

Also there isn"t really any Need to Buy AnyDVD as you can still use DVD Decryptor which works allmost as well and is Totally Free...

Also for Mpeg/Vob editing there is something much better than "VideoReDo" which is "Womble Mpeg Video Wizard 2005" which has the Option to even add effect and Filters and Transitions all without quality loss and re-encodeing the whole File....
