Help backing up my Karaoke CD!

Ok so I know that in backing up karaoke cd's, mainly used is a120%.
using the profile karaoke cd+g.
but when i bought my karaoke cd, w/c is now totally scratched,
i had to pop it in my dvd-rw but it did not read it.
then i tried a120%, but it didnt read as a cd+g, but as a cd-xa!
so, i used the search in here and got to a thread that said that in cd-xa's, we use the profile safedisc2, so i used the profile safedisc2/3 and backed it up, but it woud not play! pls help me, or buying the SAME cd will be 100 bucks! and BTW, in the media i originally bought, it said:

CD-R80 Audio
