Hello

Xbox 360 Gamers would not be having any problems if they would bother to read the instruction/warranty manuals which clearly state that the 360 needs to be kept in an area where there is good ventilation, and the same for the power supply. The power supply has ventilation holes so placing it in an area where it has adequate ventilation would solve most if not all problems. On the other hand, stuffing them side by side in a tight glass front cabinet is asking for a meltdown.

Mine is sitting on top of a bookshelf nothing around it in any direction, the power 'pack' is also sitting one shelf bellow that, and nothing around that as well.

AND THAT SUMBIZITCH won't boot up, it gets to the first boot screen and freezes/crashes.

dude,

we are xbox expert/modster here, we know ins and outs of xbox and placing the new xbox 360 is an open area with plenty of air would help it alot. But Microsoft has identified that some/maybe all xbox 360 have some issue regarding crashing.

Like I said before, the first release always sucks! with plenty of bugs!

cheers

mine isn't the overheating problem, it's a boot conflict or something that locks it up tighter then a nun's panties.
