swap magic disks have stopped working, any ideas?

hello, i have a v4 ps2 with the no solder mod chip installed, i have been using it for over a year now with no probs. ok here is whats happening now. when i insert my v3.3 swap magic dvd the ps2 reads it and "swap magic v3.3" comes up on the screen and it stops there. what i normally get are 2 options, 1 to "load program" and another for "video mode" and normally i select "load program" and hit x and it works fine

any ideas why this is happening to me now.

have you tried your disc in any other ps2?
