hi
i have 2 ps2 slims & a ps2 V7 (USA) that i am needing to chip, what are the best chips to use for these??? i have been looking into a matrix infinity 1.54 but looking on the internet it seems people have had a lot of problems with these (why are the clones bad?) also i looked at a dms 4 pro & dms 4 lite these have different memories??? what difference does the flash memory make?
i want these consoles to play psx / dvd - r / dvd + r / imported & back up games & be able to use the ps2's online, what would be the best chip to allow mw to do all this. without losing reliablity or damaging my ps2's???

I would recomend a DMS4 pro mod chip. I installed one in my V7 and haven't had a prob.!! I'm running it with Toxic OS. Both with forums supporting them. 11-24-05 the toxic team desinged an updated bios that now supports the new V14 Quoted with a 100% boot rate disc and HDD. I did notice that the people running a V12 needed to get a different laser with the mod chip. (something about the laser being wrong in the V12). I'm new to this site so I haven't had a chance to look over the rules. So if you'd link links to these sites and pictures of installs and trouble shooting then PM me.
