Why doesn't DVD Decrypter work on DVD's?

I'm trying to back up my BeWitched DVD and I get nothing but errors? Same with some others? I checked to see if it was the lastest version of DVD Decrypter and it is=(

DVDDecrypter has not been updated in sometime due to the Macrovision letter he received from their lawyers. You can either use AnyDVD ($39.00) or DVDFAB Decrypter ( free)
