I am having alittle bit of problems with my Tool C. I installed it and it worked fine for a week but now it doesn't work so well. I fiddle with the tool and nothing happens. So I opened the PSTwo and taped down the sensor with scotch tape (All I have in the home), installed Tool C and the games worked.
Next morning though, the disc didn't spin even though nothing was touched or moved. So I reopened it, added more tape and 1.5mm thick cardboard and well as some more tape. It worked finally. After awhile, the disc stopped spinning again and I moved tool C until it worked.
Is there something I am missing here? I don't want to open up my PSTwo everytime just to play some games. This is what I am using. Is this a design flaw?

So with me adding a bunch of cardboard in there, is there a much greater risk of something going wrong? Like it overheating the PS?

What about tape mods? Are there any good links that show pictures of it?

hey buddie im having the same prob. so i removed all that bull crap and said darn it. i took the scoth tape and did what u did. then for the sensor (near the power button) I wated up a peice of small paper and stuck it in the hole to hold down the switch then i took a straw and then i put it in the hole to make the disc spin (so it wont hold the disc while its trying to spin) and i just kept the lid open to play games.

My problem is that i cant get any games working because i dont know what the hell is going on! im very tired and frustrated been up since 8pm last night doing this shit all different ways but no solution. I backed up a copy of xiii with dvd decrypter. i made a iso image with dvd decrypter then took the iso image and buned it with dvd decrypter at speed 2x also 1x i am using disc dvd-r verbatem 16x 4.7gb any solutions?

@jaritte: You might want to try burning the game at a higher speed like 4X. Also, you might have to rebuild the game before it will work.
