hi
i have xbox game that is only 700mb is it possible to put the game onto cd-r or do i have to waste a dvd for such a small file

I think you have to do it on a DVD but why ask why not try it? Shessh CD-R's are not that expensive to test it out.

Most xboxes can't read CD-R media, try CD-RW media.

dvds are just as cheap as good cds these days anyways... 30 bucks shipped for taiyo yudens... just get some of them

i was only following up on forum where it said you could try cd-r all i was trying to do was see if anybody had been successfull.

I can do it, but only on a modified LG-Hitachi drive. It reads CD-R's, CD-RW's, and most DVD's, but has a harder time reading DVD-R's than my old Thompson. That old dog read all DVD-R's, no matter how cheap or how fast they were burned, even CMC's and Princo's at 8X.
