Yeah, congratulations on becoming a Moderator. So now are you going to monitor this Nero forum (i.e. double posting, illegal cracking posts, etc. - especially from Newbies)? If you or any Mods feel this is totally irrelevant, then please teleport/move into the "all other topics".

Again, congrats to you buddy.

Yay! Who told you that? And does this mean that he will have to not help alot? B/c I notice that from other mods, they are too busy and can only post once every few days.

@GlueEater

I've just noticed his (creaky's) status/title while reading some of my old PM mails. In addition while coming in here (Nero forum), I happened to see his title/status changed from "Afterdawn Additcs" to "Moderator" from a few of his replies.

@Bigfatboy

Thanks for the kind words, but you're pretty good and you definitely have a good knowledge of reading Nero logs as well -- same thing goes to GlueEater.

It is good that we have more members that are able to tweak and comprehend Nero's logs nearly 99%. Additionally, I've seen more members were able to solve (give an answer) to the poster(s) here at the Nero forum/community. Afterall, we're all here to help and learn.

Keep up the good work guys..!!

lol, I remember there was this one thread that one got, the thing went on for about a page and a half. We were all puzzled, so MaxBurn (maybe someone else) decided to just get creaky. Needless to say he solve it almost immediatly.

You're always welcome to join and help out in the Nero forum. I personally, think that the Nero forum (or community) is one of the few forum at AD that doesn't have too much of drama, which is good.

I like it best because there are no annoying madagascar, etc. threads. It's usually just can't burn this and that. Everything's more straight forward.

The closest thing the Nero forum has are those annoying media problems, CMC TDK Memos.

@Doc

You're always welcome to help. I, myself, don't hang around in there as much as I used to. We have other members that can tweak through Nero logs and help out newbies awesomely, which is good.

@creaky

Yeah, I hear you buddy. I can't believe it that after all the hard work I've put writing a mini guide using VobBlanker and after you've officially stated that DVDFAB Decrypter 2.9.6.2 can rip "Madagascar" flawlessly, yet newbies are still having troubles. LOL.... not to mention Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Fantastic 4, Dukes of Hazzard Unrated, hehe.

i think one of the key things with ripping these troublesome movies is to have a couple different optical drives at your disposal. my trusty dvd-rom/cdwriter combo drive is a trojan at ripping but i suspect most ppl who are having trouble are using just a dvd burner.

that's what i think anyway

I don't think anyone reads the stickys, I don't know what it is but the newbs just seem to ignore them. It might be a little overwhelming to have your first post be on a 300 count thread, that is really all I can think of. Maybe have the stickys flash somehow, and instead of a single sticky for Hitch, Madagascar, just title it "..." and list all the problem movies. Then you can change the title when a new movie comes out.

@GlueEater

Nice suggestion, but that will be the Mods job to decide. I'm pretty sure if it's worth it, then someone will eventually "sticky" it, but if it's not, then just leave as is (which I don't think it's worth the sticky).
