first of all, i wanted to say that if this is not the correct disscusion then im sorry...
and now for business..
i have the not slim version of ps2, and i was wondering which mod chip will be able to read ps2 games i burn from my pc and what format of dvd i need to burn, and same for movies..
im doing this because i live in israel, and here each game costs about 70%, and im tired to spent so much money on games...

If you don't want to install it yourself or don't have anybody around you to install it, you can always choose the bootdisk method with Swap Magic. It is much cheaper, but you have to swap it out every time you go to play. You will also need some sort of tool for this (slide tool, magic keys, etc) depending on what version you have.
