hey guys,

I've had my v.10 ps2 chipped about 18 months ago and about 6 months ago the back-up disks i had stopped working. Now I get the red screen where it does not recognise the back-up disks. Original disks and dvds work fine. I checked out the guides and opened the ps2 and found the following details for my chip. I cant remember what chip it was as i bought it pre-mod. Can anyone identify this:
Actel
ProASIC Plus
APA075-F
TQ100 0346
MS2 F

Appreciate any ideas/help etc

Hi there,

The chip is an ASIC FPGA made by ACTEL.
It's actually the core of Matrix Infinity Mod Chip's.

If your ModChip is a Matrix Infinity you should have noticed the Matrix Logo on booting, or the text "Matrix V1.xx" bellow the Playstation Logo when cd is being read, if not, maybe is better if you can post a good quality photo or a scanned image of the modchip, in order to help you.

Best Regards,

UltraTech

thats the same processor used in the DMS line of chips as well. looking at online modchip stores you should be able to visually compare the two and come up with which one you have.
