I Just bought a Canon Elura 90 and it comes with some software, but I was wondering if Nero would be a better editing application for all my home video's? If anyone has additional information regarding eitehr Elura 90 or DVD editing software I eould greatly appreciate it, or if there is a link already posting this info please refer me to it. Thanks

Thanks.

By the way, will that influence the way in which this will send messages to my e mail address if it's moved?

The Cannon Elura 90 is a Digital DV Camcorder so you don"t need DVD editing Software you need DV Editing Software or maybe a Editing/DVD authoring Package Like "Sony Vegas Video 6" or "Adobe Premier pro 1.5" with "Adobe Encore DVD".....

I personally do My Captureing and Editing of my Camcorder Footage useing "Sony Vegas Video 6" and then render my edited Project as a DVD Compliant mpeg-2 file and a Dolby Digital AC3 audio file, I then use a DVD Authoring Program called "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" to add my menu"s and Chapters and scene selections and then it formats it all into a "Video_TS" Folder which I burn to DVD useing "Nero" in "DVD Video" mode and the Results are great.....

Vegas is especially good for editing DV AVI Camcorder Footage because it has Filters and effects for Fixing Shots that are Too dark or Too Bright or have color Problems ect, It also has a wide Variety of audio Features so you Can Filter the audio and it even has a 6 channel Mixer for Creating Dolby 5.1 audio files for DVD....

It is a bit Hard to learn at First but it is easier than most editing Programs of it"s Caliber.....

Cheers

PS: there are also some adequate Editing programs that are Much Cheaper than vegas Video so if you would Like some more recomendations then PM me or Post back....

Cheers
