Ok guys, im not a TOTAL newb, I have a game that I bought over sea's and it is indeed PAL (screen is black and white, and rolls) I followed the Tutorial that someone posted on how to convert games frmo PAL to NTSC EXACTLY!, but had no luck (I didn't repost, becuase it seems like the thread ended 12 months ago.)
I loaded the game into my DVD Drive, made and ISO (DVD Decrypter), patched that ISO with PS2 PAL TO NTSC PATCHER WITH Y-FIX V1.06 BETA, setting the Y-FIX to 48 (default?) and then I burned the game to a blank DVD+R using DVD Decrypter.
I loaded the game into my PS2, and it detected it, the white Playstation 2 letters came, which indicated that the system did indeed detect a PS2 game, but after that the screen goes black...no sound, no roling, no nothing, just a black screen. Any idea's as to what I did wrong?
I'm having the same problem except that i see 3 choices to pick from on the screen (NTSC Y-fix, NTSC, PAL). No matter what i choose, the screen stays black. Any suggestions would be appreciated
