Hi,
I'm trying to install the matrix infinity on my ps2 (v7) and I have found a few guides that are very helpful but does not quite explain everything. I've actually soldered (well my brother did) all the points to the motherboard already but ran into a problem. The ps2 boots up but does not load anything. No originals or backups. The dvdrom does not even spin. Which solder points look to be the most probable cause of this error? Also, when soldering points R,V,U,T, and Q, do I need to remove the tin pads before soldering them ? Do all the wires need to be 30 gauge? And lastly, point I is on the other side of the motherboard, correct? Any replies or answers will be appreciated.
