Many of my backups will play in color but the bottom 2 inches of my tv screen is cut off. This is when I choose the NTSC option in swap magic 3.6. I believe this is because they are PAL games? Also, those same games (gun, king kong) will play under "normal" and "pal" but they are in black and white. Interestingly, they are corrected on my tv screen. Is there any way to have the best of both worlds?...Color and no screen centering issues? I hope patching the game isn't the answer. Maybe I just have to live with the screen displacement. Any advice?

patching to NTSC with y-fix would be your best bet. I know it's something you didn't wanna hear but that's the best way.
