I have a v14 PS2. I have been searching the fourms for info on modding this PS2 and I haven't had much luck. What mod chips work in this version? Also do you know where I can get a pre-modded PS2, Not v12. I hear there is alot of problems with these versions. I don't trust myself soldering on my new PS2.I am going with Swap Magic and magic keys for a temp solution until I can figure what mod I want and need. I tried it on an old PS1 along time ago and it worked for awhile and then died. Does anyone know of a reliable place to get good premodded ones??? teammodders.com is not taking orders right now. I know this post rambled so but any info would help Thanks in advance.

As far as the mod chip goes, Matrix Infinity and DMS4 Pro/Lite will work with a V14. I'm not too sure about a reliable site for premods.

On the sites I found that actually sells these chips, only give installation directions for v12/13. Does that matter? Is v14 the same as those other versions as far as wire connections etc...?

Nope, V14 has different bios and installation diagrams are different. Ive done DMS4 and Crystal Chips on V14, Matrix just released an updated version of the Infinity to support V14, so i will do a few of those Friday.

Ok do you have a site that has those directions for this version? or when you order a chip it comes with them. the places I have found that sells the chips only list v12/13 so they have no info on v14. I know they work because people in this thread say they do. :) I am just trying to do some really good research before I jump in and start soldering on my PS2. I don't have another $150 bucks lying around when I burn this one up :)
