im trying to play my ps2 via my tv card...but all the ntsc games dont work on it....screen goes messy...is there anyway i can play my ntsc games on my tv card.

could the resolution settings be screwing it up?

Hi all,

I have a very similar issue. Ps2 (+DMS4pro) is hooked up to the PC monitor via a composite input on a Hauppage card and through WinDVR.

Pal is all good but NTSC are Black and White. By changing the WIndvr inputs through all the PAL and NTSC and SECAM etc I get get either b&w or a messed up picture.

I have used all the resolutions I can through the monitor but still no joy.

Any ideas?

Anyway...

Being the n00b that I am, I failed to look into the simple solution first.

Boot the PS2 into Toxic screen - force to PAL and also enable Video Y fix to get a full screen.

Sorted.
